What is Persons with Disability (PwD) Scheme?

A . : An initiative taken by CSC and MoSJE are aimed at empowering PwD and to move towards formulating local and national level strategies for shaping the future of PwDs in India.

CSC is now poised for future growth, driven by National Vision and outreach, with a philosophy that assigns primacy for PwD to enterprise in the Government sector, Industry and also individual accomplishments.CSC SPV as Training Partner under National Action Plan for Skill Training of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) will train the Orthopedically Disabled candidates through Common Service Centers in the following five job roles:

What is the type of disability?

A .

  • 1. Locomotors / orthopaedic (LD/OH)
  • 2. Speech and hearing impart (SHI) Only for House Keeping Attendant (Manual Cleaning) Job role.

What is disability level of candidate?

A . Disability Level- Min 40% or more than 40%.

What is a batch size?

A . Minimum 10 candidates and maximum 30 candidates per batch per job role.

What is the eligibility of CSC centres to work under PwD Scheme? &
is minimum infrastructure required in a centre to start PwD batch?

A . As per changes in the Ministry’s norms, now only disable friendly centres Verified by ScPwD with below mentioned minimum requirements will be able to work under PwD Scheme.

What is Age limit for candidates?

A . Age limit- 18 years to 59 years

How much payment/amount will a candidate get?

A . Candidates will get Rs. 1000/Month of course duration in his/her Aadhaar linked account. (This is only for successfully passed candidates)

How to take attendance of candidates?

A . Biometric attendance will be taken though CSC attendance App.

  • VLEs also must maintain a Attendance register.
  • Minimum attendance 80%
  • Classes must be 5 hours per day, six days in week (Sunday and Gazetted holiday off)

How will VLEs get their payments/amount?

A . VLEs will get the commission only for passed candidates in their Bank Account i.e. registered with CSC.

Documents need to be collecting from Candidates?

A . Following documents are needed to be collected from Candidates:

  • Valid Disability certificate
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Educational certificate
  • Dully signed Trainee undertaking form (VLEs can Download this form from Skill portal under information Tab)

What are the Documents that VLEs need to upload on Skill portal?

A . The VLEs must have to upload the clear Scan copy of Disability certificate and Trainee undertaking form of each PwD candidates in batch before starting the batch. It will also be mandatory for VLEs to maintain records of training like running classes photographs, Video and also share the same to Head office and state teams on regular basis.
